First Aid White Cross App Reviews

Terrible

This app is worthless. Pretty much everything in it is common sense and really, theres nothing to it. All it really tells you is one or two rescue positions and how to put a bandage on if youre bleeding. Im not being sarcastic either. I thought it was going to be somewhat useful since I have a small child, but it was really just a waste of space. Thank goodness it was free...

Promising disappointment

This app has the potential to be a great one, but its so limited that its really not worth downloading at this point. Good interface, but wheres the info?

Very helpful app

This app is great, mayb more information. Otherwise, very straightforward and precise. Other 1,2* reviewers are nuts. For goodness sake this is a free app. Rep to the devs

Boyscouts

When Im at Scout meetings, I often use this while instructing younger scouts

Good app

I like to have this in case I am hurt and someone comes across I hope they look at my phone and are able to save me one thing I would want fixed is you should be able to go directly through the steps instead of having to go back and forth between menues

Not impressed

As a lifeguard, no one would stop to take the time to look through this app in a real emergency. Time is of great importance in an emergency. I can see how this might be a good teaching app. But thats all its good for. If anyone were really serious about wanting to be prepared for an emergency, just take the Red Cross First Aid course and get certified.

Waste of space

This app was a total waste of space. Get webMD instead

IFirst Aid meets basic needs

This is a good app for those who arent familiar with basic first aid or who need a refresher. I can see using it while giving aid to an injured person.

Not bad for being free

I am a CPR and first aid trainer for an emt and firefighting school, as free apps go this one isnt bad. The fireman pull is not somthing to do if you suspect a head or neck problem but the layout isnt bad compared to some really lackluster ones that cost money out there. I think for laypersons refresher its good. Nothing can substitute a true class, but just to keep handy this isnt bad I think the naysayers are being a bit harsh

Forget this app and call 911

Sorry for such a negative but I see nothing positive about this app. It was my desire to support an app for the good of us all but this just falls so short.

k

very usefull, if u have problems, GET THIS APP!!!

not good

I dont think it is a great app, come on.

Ok

Its a good review of sorts, but people shouldnt just depend on this app. Not enough important details and not enough injury scenarios (ie shock)

Great information

I have small kids. This will help me remember if I need to use CPR.

Really stupid

If you want to get first aid for children or infants, you have to buy it. So if theres a child emergency, you wont know what to do if you dont want to buy it.

Be Realistic

This is a great app and should be standard equipment on all PDAs. This is meant to be Basic Lifesaving Techniques used until help arrives

The app is ok. It needs more infotmation

Hi

has less info than a pamphlet

waste

Useful Reminder, Could Have More

While it does have useful reminders about how to do CPR and when to use the recovery position, it lacks specifics and has a small amount of info. If more information/injuries were added, this would be an awesome app.

Great app. PLEASE dont add more details: it would make this app too complicated to be useful.

The simplicity of this app is what makes it work and the age specificity is great. I have it on the first page of my iPhone so I can get at it easily should I ever need to perform CPR. I would recommend this to anyone who wants that peace of mind. I like that there is an audible timer for the hundred compressions/minute. Thank you for putting together a very thoughtful and well designed app. I REALLY like that it just has the necessary details and no unnecessary "fluff"! Thank you.
